Late-Breaking Abstracts

Submission Site Is Now Closed

The submission site for Late-Breaking Abstracts that present new and high-impact research for which results were not available at the standard abstract deadline closed at noon, EST, August 2, 2010. Abstracts representing incremental work that merely missed the standard abstract deadline are unlikely to be accepted for presentation.  The work described in abstracts may not be previously published or presented before the date of scheduled presentation.

A new track: Late-Breaking Clinical Trials will be added as an additional track for the Late-Breaking submissions. Abstracts submitted in this category should represent new breakthroughs in clinical science that are likely to have a significant impact on clinical practice. The results of single or multicenter trials of diet or exercise interventions, or other novel treatments, will be considered in this category. Only results that will not be presented in the Pre-Conference Pharmacotherapy Update will be considered.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee and only those that are judged to be high impact will be chosen for presentation. Submissions may be selected for either oral presentation or scheduled for poster sessions.

Abstract Submission Directions

Before submitting your abstract, be sure to review the abstract submission directions. These directions outline the process for composing your abstract in a Word Document, with specific formatting instructions. Examples of correctly formatted abstracts can be viewed by clicking here.

Please prepare your abstract in advance, along with the Contributing Author List and Disclosure Form, as you will upload both documents in the submission form
