Governance & Executive Assistant

The Governance and Executive Assistant serves as a liaison to volunteer committee members and provides administrative assistance to the Executive Director (ED) of The Obesity Society.

 

Volunteer Coordinator - Part Time

The Obesity Society is seeking a staff liaison to our 11 Special Interest Sections within our membership. Each Section is autonomous but still conforms to certain standards set by the organization. The Volunteer Coordinator will provide guidance to Section leadership, manages their initiatives throughout the year and provides administrative and logistical support for their activities.

 

Editor-in-Chief: Open Access Obesity Journal

The International Association for the Study of Obesity (IASO) and The Obesity Society (TOS) are recruiting the inaugural Editor-in-Chief (EiC) for their new joint open access obesity journal, published by Wiley as part of the Wiley Open Access program. Applications are welcomed from those working in the field of obesity.

Composed of approximately 2,500 researchers and clinicians, the Society conducts the largest scientific meeting on obesity each year (ObesityWeek) and is involved in advocacy, education, and expanding public awareness.
