Obesity Facts Book 

The Epidemiology Section has been exploring the feasibility of an "Obesity Facts Book."  A concept proposal has been presented to the TOS Council.  For further information, please contact Caroline Fox.

TOS Mentoring Program

A mentoring workshop targeted toward students and junior faculty is being jointly planned for the Obesity 2011 TOS meeting.  For further information, please contact Meghan Slining.

Call for Nominations

Nominations for  Epidemiology Section Leaders should be emailed to Jimmy Efird by May 2, 2011.

E-ballot will open May 9 and close May 20.  Please contact Lisa Jahns regarding Section involvement for the forthcoming term.

Obesity 2011

Section members are encouraged to register for Obesity 2011, set to take place in Orlando, FL October 1-5.  Early-bird registration is now open.  For further information, please check the society webpage at http://www.obesity.org


The TOS Epidemiology Section 2011 business meeting (Orlando, FL) has been scheduled for Sunday, October 2 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.  Room to be announced at a later date.
