In its first year, we are bringing together the resources of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and The Obesity Society (TOS) to co-locate our respective annual meetings under one roof. Programming will cover the full interdisciplinary spectrum and feature the world's leading experts. A comprehensive agenda will include:
- Scientific sessions of both TOS and ASMBS
- Pre-conference Continuing Education
- Policy and public health discussions
- Co-sponsored programming and networking events

TOS Review Course for the ABOM Exam
Nov. 11-12, Atlanta, Georgia
The 2013 review course will include an updated approach from the previous year. There will be more coverage of certain domains and discussion of sample test questions in addition to didactic lectures. Materials will be distributed to all attendees beforehand. The review course is designed as a tool to help physicians prepare for the board exam. It is not intended to be an exhaustive review of all content that will appear the board exam. Obesity 2012 Meeting Evaluation and CME/CEU Credits
Please visit The Obesity Society's Online Evaluation & Continuing Education Credit Application System at Obesity Online to complete your overall meeting evaluation and to request CME/CEU credits for the sessions you attended at Obesity 2012, the 30th Obesity Society Annual Scientific Meeting of The Obesity Society. The actual content from the meeting is being compiled and will be available early December.
Instructions to access Obesity Online: Once at Obesity Online, click to login on the top right. After filling out the my account page, click on the Annual Meetings tab in the horizontal menu bar. In the Obesity 2012 box, click the link that says: "Click here to go to the Online Evaluation and Continuing Education Credit Application System". The page you will see next will have the Obesity 2012 banner at the top of the page. Scroll down and click on "Enter Educational Content". You should then see evaluation questions. After answering these questions, you will be able to indicate which sessions you attended. You can repeat the process if you will be claiming credits for the previous year(s). After choosing your sessions, you should be able to access your certificate via the "My Account" tab. For technical support see the note at the bottom of this page.
Access Educational Programming at Obesity Online
Access educational programming from the Annual Scientific Meetings of The Obesity Society at Obesity Online. You can view recorded sessions and complete evaluations online, download an official transcript, and earn CME/CPE/CEU credits. This feature is FREE to registered Annual Scientific Meeting attendees and is an opportunity to view sessions that could not be attended on site. These sessions are also a tremendous resource for scientists and clinicians who were not able to attend the Annual Meeting in person. Now you can earn CME/CPE/CEU credits by viewing the recorded proceedings online. The content from Obesity 2012 is being compiled and will be available early December.

Need explanation that these links take you off the main site and they may need to login again to veiw or purchase by using thier regular password. Also need to include that non-members may purchase sessons.
