ProActive Health, Inc. is a rapidly growing private solo Bariatric and Preventive Medicine practice seeking to add another physician. The practice has grown to over 1,500 patients in three years, with a strong referral base to ensure continued growth. Dr.Linda Shapiro integrates therapeutic lifestyle counseling of nutrition and exercise with evaluation and management of metabolic and other pathologies to assist patients in successful weight loss and weight maintenance efforts for the goal of improved health and well being. The staff also includes a dietitian and an exercise physiologist, and there is an outside referral network for behavioral health interventions. The practice, located in central Denver, Colorado, is associated with a medical center with a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence that accounts for about 10% of the patient referrals, and other referrals come from primary care, OB/Gyn, Endocrine, Cardiology, Orthopedic, ENT, and other physicians, as well as direct referrals from our established patients.
