Seeking part-time or full-time obesity medicine specialist to join a newly developed, progressive, medical weight loss and management practice.  Physician must be board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds and have additional training, credentialing or experience in the practice of bariatric medicine.  We would also consider a doctor with experience in outpatient medicine with a strong interest in bariatrics.  Physician candidates must be comfortable with the management of obesity related co-morbidities.

Advantage Health is a multi-specialty primary care group with over 100 physicians.  The Weigh to Wellness program was developed in 2007 and has grown rapidly.  Being a part of Advantage Health offers this practice a tremendous referral base with approximately 75% of the patient base coming from internal physician referrals. 

Patient care is delivered as part of a multi-disciplinary team including registered nurses, dietitians and social workers.  Our focus is on individualized, quality patient care.  Various program types and extensive continuing care programs are available to patients.  A high-end bioelectric impedance scale (InBody 520) is available in the office and used regularly to monitor patient body composition.  EKGs are also done on site.  Multiple meal replacements, food scales, calorie counter books, pedometers and supplements are available for patients to purchase.  Laboratory facility and group visit conference room are available in the building.
