On Saturday, September 12, 2015, join more than 200 of your fellow Internal Medicine & Family Medicine Physicians, Endocrinologists, Cardiologists, NPs and PAs in Houston, TX for Obesity Forum® 2015!

 

This exciting, case-based, interactive educational activity will feature world-renowned specialists addressing the biggest issues facing health care providers who treat patients with overweight and obesity. They will discuss the association between obesity and related comorbidities, overcoming barriers in managing patients with overweight and obesity, as well as the safety, efficacy, and appropriate use of newly approved medications to treat obesity. This activity will highlight challenging cases where learners can compare their management strategies with those of the faculty, and will offer the opportunity for one-on-one interaction during a Meet the Experts workshop.

ASBMB Membrane-Anchored Serine Proteases

Based on the success of the first symposium held in 2013, ASBMB is pleased to invite you to join them in 2015. The symposium will provide an opportunity for researchers within this rapidly expanding field to get together to present and discuss the latest and most important research on structural, biochemical, biological, and pathophysiological aspects of membrane-anchored serine proteases.

In addition to invited presentations, a number of speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts. The meeting also will feature two Poster Sessions with poster prizes for best poster presentations.

Each session will be chaired by a Senior Co-chair and a Postdoc or Graduate Student Junior Co-chair, who will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts.
