Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Site for Obesity 2011 is Closed.

The Late-Breaking Abstract Submission site closed August 1, 2011 at 11:59 pm. The Obesity Society thanks those who submitted late-breaking abstracts for Obesity 2011. Your participation will help build an exciting meeting and bring attention to important topics in obesity research and clinical practice.

Late Breaking Abstracts describe new and high-impact research for data that were not available at the standard (March 2011) abstract deadline. This is not a deadline extension for abstracts that were ready for submission in March but were not submitted.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee and only those that are judged to be of high impact will be chosen for presentation. Submissions may be selected for either oral presentation or scheduled for poster sessions. The late-breaking abstract acceptance rate was approximately 30% in 2010; the 2011 acceptance rate will again be in the range of 25-35%.
