Student Membership

The Obesity Society student membership category includes undergraduate/graduate student, or postdoctoral associate within three years of graduation. To become a student member or to renew student membership of The Obesity Society, you will need to provide a letter from your supervisor or mentor, on institutional letterhead, confirming your student status and, thus, eligibility for student membership of The Obesity Society.   NOTE: Student membership does not include access to Obesity.  Students may purchase online or print access to Obesity for an additional fee.

 

Apply for Student Membership

In order to complete your student membership or renewal of student membership in The Obesity Society, please download and complete the membership application form and also send us a letter from your supervisor or mentor, on institutional letterhead, confirming your eligibility for student membership. You may fax this to (301) 563-6595 or mail it to the address below. Be sure to identify yourself on the form, as well.

 

Student membership renewal will be held as "pending" until the support documentation is received in the The Obesity Society Office.
