Late-Breaking Abstract Submission Opens July 17

Do you have new data that wasn't ready in time for this year's regular abstract submission deadline? If so, you can submit your research as a Late-Breaking Abstract. Late-Breaking Abstracts will be accepted beginning July 17, and the deadline for submission is 11:59 PM on August 11. As with the regular abstract submission period, submission is completely online. Accepted Late-Breaking Abstracts will be presented as posters only, and will be printed in Obesity in early 2007. Please visit the 2006 Annual Scientific Meeting Web Site for more information.

Don't Miss the July 14 Deadline to Nominate a Colleague for an Award

The Obesity Society's awards program promotes, rewards, and encourages research in the field of obesity. Awards reflecting different aspects or points in the careers of obesity researchers will be presented at the 2006 Annual Scientific Meeting. Learn more about the awards and nominate a colleague before July 14, 2006.

The Obesity Society's BMI Challenge is Ending Soon!

The deadline for The Obesity Society's "Bring-A-Member-In" Challenge has been extended to July 14 due to popular demand! Many new members have joined the Society after learning about it from their colleagues, and we don't want to break the momentum. You can win a free Obesity Society membership, Annual Scientific Meeting registration, and more by referring new members. Help us grow The Obesity Society and you could be a big winner!
