You may apply if you are a TOS member and have received a PhD degree within the past five years; or have received an MD or DO degree within the past eight years. You must also currently hold a full-time, entry-level position (e.g., post-doctoral fellow, instructor, assistant professor) at an established academic/research institution. In order to submit an abstract, is it necessary to register for the Society’s annual meeting held at ObesityWeek®?2019-08-15T10:44:33-04:00

Abstracts can be submitted by both ObesityWeek attendees and non-attendees. If your abstract is accepted, we encourage you to register for the annual meeting and attend to present your research in person.

The Obesity Society does not provide medical referrals. However, you can contact any medical school in your area and ask about nearby obesity treatment centers.
