The Challenges We Face: Obesity affects more than one billion people worldwide, contributing to an ever-increasing risk of cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and other related comorbidities. It is therefore incumbent upon healthcare providers across the globe to recognize obesity as a chronic, progressive disease and to provide compassionate, comprehensive care that improves the health and quality of life of those affected.
The target audience for this program includes health care providers (HCPs) who provide primary care to patients with obesity, as well as relevant specialist clinicians significantly involved in the management and treatment of obesity. These educational activities are intended for international healthcare professionals outside the US and the UK.
